Whether you're looking for the perfect gift for the happy couple or to celebrate an anniversary with your partner, these unique and personalised Wedding cross stitch portraits are perfect (and my favourite thing to stitch!)
This listing includes two full length characters, two lines of text. You can add flower decorations, just select from the drop down options.
The piece will be finished in either a 5inch or 6inch hoop - depending on your final design - and backed with toning fabric.
Don't worry if the wedding you're attending hasn't happened yet either. I can work with photos and descriptions of the couple and their outfits - even better if you can share any pictures from the bridal dress fitting too!
Wedding Portrait - Hoop
Each portrait is designed and hand-stitched by me using high-quality cotton aida fabric and DMC threads.
Characters (adults, children, babies, and pets) are personalised as much as possible, though — as this is cross stitch — an exact likeness isn’t possible. I customise height, skin and hair colour, clothing, and accessories. Eyes are stitched in black unless you request otherwise.
Character sizes:
Each full-length adult: approx. 6.5cm tall
Each head-and-shoulders adult: approx. 2.5cm tall
Reference Photos & Descriptions
Once you’ve placed your order, please email clear reference photos. These should show hair and skin colour, hairstyle, facial hair (if any), and the outfit you'd like stitched. You’re welcome to send multiple images — just label them clearly.
I’ll then create a simple digital sketch to show the layout of your portrait. This isn’t the final level of detail — it’s just to confirm positioning and key features.
Please note: colours may vary slightly from screen to thread, and filtered photos can affect colour matching — so try to send unedited images if possible.
I only begin stitching once you’re happy with the layout.
